Practice Details
We are a full service midwifery practice offering prenatal, birth and postnatal care. Families can either birth in the comfort of our birth center or their home. We view birth as a family centered event. We specialize in "low risk" pregnancy, normal physiologic birth and water birth.
Our birth center, located in Poway, California, has three birthing suites with tubs, shower and private bathrooms. You will find it a beautiful and comfortable space in which to welcome your new baby. We use movement, position changes, rebozos, birth and peanut balls in labor. We are VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) friendly.
We also provide annual well-woman care, paps, nutritional counseling, pre-pregnancy counseling, childbirth classes and a weekly breastfeeding group for all families in the area. We enjoy providing nutritional counseling to mothers of twins with to assist them in growing their babies to full term for planned hospital birth.
